Nestled between the two great volcanoes Tajumulco and Tamaca, 20 farmers grow, pick, and process their lots together, in the hopes of creating a coffee with a sense of place. The nutrient rich volcanic soil provides perfect conditions for growing great coffee, and, once picked, the cherries are soaked for 38 to 40 hours, before being dried under the shade of the volcanoes.
